Hair Salon

Once a thriving business with customers bustling in and out, this former hair salon was established sometime in the 1970s. Now, decades later, the windows are boarded up and the roof is slowly collapsing. The salon chairs and equipment are covered in dust and cobwebs, a stark contrast to the vibrant energy that once filled the space. It is a sad reminder of how things can change and fade away with time. The salon’s original owner died in 2013, but the business remained open until 2020. The echoes of stories and laughter have long faded, replaced by rustling leaves, the sound of busted water pipes, and a distant hum of traffic.

  1. The salon looks pretty rough to have only been closed for four years, looks more like 20 years. But nevertheless, those old blow dryer and styling chairs really takes you back in time. Would have been nice to have donated them.

  2. No way that only closed in 2020, and no way it opened in the 70s…more like opened in the late 50s/early 60s and closed about mid-90s.
