Once the cornerstone of a vibrant community, this beautiful brick church was constructed a century ago. Over its lifetime, the church has seen several changes in owners as well as denominations. Several years ago, the last congregation vacated the property. Since it has been vacant, there have been numerous attempts to sell the property, even talk of converting it into apartments, but so far no buyer has come forward.

Where is this abandoned Methodist Episcopal church located is it still for sale is anybody have the listing information on it? Or happened to know the story of what’s the holdup if there’s been so many different selling opportunities, what is holding it back from the sale going through I wonder? I don’t recall ever seeing a Methodist church with a baptism pool.

I looked online and the place is still listed for sale for $699,000.

I hope it finds a buyer soon. The last photo I saw online, the lights had been stripped out.
